Client: Ola Design Group | Volcano, HI
Ola Design Group is a landscape design firm dedicated to creating ecological landscapes and fostering stewardship across Hawaiʻi. The client needed a full refresh of their outdated website to better reflect their current operations and present a modern, professional image. From concept to launch, I streamlined the site’s functionality and navigation while designing a clean, contemporary look tailored to clients pursuing larger-scale projects. Working closely with the client, I also developed strategic messaging and layouts that showcased the value of his services and reinforced the mission and values at the heart of his work. The result was a professional online presence that more effectively communicates their expertise and attracts the right projects.
Project Deliverables
Redesigned WordPress website using Divi theme and builder
Created new layouts, refined color palette, selected new typography
Refreshed and updated existing content
Wrote new content copy to highlight unique value proposition and services
Curated and edited high-quality photos and images
Updated backend including: theme change, removing unused plug-ins, streamlining site structure
Improved SEO by setting and rewriting meta descriptions and keywords
Configured caching to improve site speed and performance
