Huakaʻi Creative partnered with the County of Hawaiʻi’s Office of Sustainability, Climate, Equity, and Resilience (OSCER) to deliver a comprehensive communications campaign supporting public outreach and community engagement across Hawaiʻi Island.
The project began with a structured marketing assessment and stakeholder interviews to identify communication gaps, audience priorities, and opportunities to strengthen awareness of sustainability initiatives. These insights informed a cohesive messaging framework and integrated visual system spanning print, digital, and multimedia communications.
Huakaʻi Creative developed custom illustrations, infographic posters, and branded communication templates to ensure consistency across public-facing materials. The team also managed the full production of community interview videos and animated explainers, guiding each phase from concept development through final delivery.
Completed on an accelerated timeline, the project required focused collaboration and disciplined project management. The result was a clear, credible communications toolkit that strengthened OSCER’s ability to educate, engage, and connect with diverse audiences across Hawaiʻi Island.
